Do I need gardening experience to volunteer?
No experience necessary. We have volunteers who are 8 and volunteers who are 80. You'll be trained by our experienced garden leads.
Is there a cost to volunteer?
No cost. We provide tools, training, and a snack. Many volunteers stay for the community afterward.
How is Harbor funded?
We're funded entirely by donations, grants, and volunteer hours. We don't charge families for food or gardening access.
Can I donate supplies instead of money?
Absolutely. We maintain a wishlist of seeds, tools, and compost. Reach out and we'll share our current needs.
Will I receive a contribution acknowledgment?
We email a contribution acknowledgment for each completed donation. Consult the organization's published qualification details and a qualified adviser for tax treatment.
